Astra is built to be a central hub for your personal finances. For the banks in the U.S. that we integrate with, there are two levels of connection which will come with different amounts of functionality.

Connected

If you complete account setup process and see that your account in the dashboard screen lists your account as "Connected" you will be able to see/do the following:

See account balances
See account transactions
Create automated Notification Routines
Use the account as the trigger for Round-ups

For Connected accounts, there is currently no functionality to complete transfers between financial accounts (yet) but we are working diligently to increase the number of accounts that can have transfer functionality.

Authorized

If you complete account setup process and see that your account in the dashboard screen lists your account as "Authorized" you will be able to see/do the following:

See account balances
See account transactions
Create automated Notification Routines
Use the account as the trigger for Round-ups

AND

Use the account as a source or destination account for bank transfers using any of the following Routines:

Sweep Transfer Routine
52-week Challenge Routine
Round Up Routine
Recurring Transfer Routine
One-time or Quick Transfers

For Authorized accounts, you have complete access to all of the functionality of Astra, including all alerts and transfer routines. To get the most from your Astra experience we highly recommend that you have at a minimum two Authorized accounts.
